The Importance of Ebay Feedback

With Ebay you’ll be able to make a good amount of money right off the bat by selling things around your house, However if you’re serious about it you can start making a full-time income just selling on Ebay! If that’s your goal then you’ll need to understand why the Ebay feedback feature is so important to your success

Ebay’s feedback feature has 3 different essentials:

feedback score. this number is calculated by subtracting from the number of good experiences people have had with them, the number of bad experiences. There is a symbol that indicates the users rating visually. The number is usually put right next to the members eBay id. While this is important its not the whole picture. The feedback percentage is also very important.

The feedback percentage is a way for people to see how much of the time you receive positive feedback as opposed to negative. They calculate it by dividing your total feedbacks (good and bad) by just your good so you get an accurate assesment of the percentage of time you get positive feedback

You will either love or hate the feedback report depending on if people like you or not. The feedback report gives you all the specifics about your feedbacks. It includes comments, compliments, criticisms and the names and ID’s of all the people you’ve done business with. You’ll need to make sure this is good as many people will be checking to see how others have dealt with you.

It is so important for you to maintain a high feedback score. If you get lazy and let your score drop you’ll see an exponential drop in your sales. The best way to keep it high is to pay on time, ship on time and be courteous.

Once you pass the initial threshhold of getting positive feedbacks you’ll be able to start selling en mass. There’s no holding you back. Just be careful to keep that rating high and you’ll be just fine.

Best Ways To Become A Ebay Seller

EBay is a multi-million dollar auction shopping site. Essentially, eBay is one of the world’s most popular shopping centers in cyberspace. EBay is founded on shopping and selling by millions of people around the world.

Many people are out there trying to figure out how to make money with eBay. When looking at how to do it, starting is pretty simple. Learn three fundamental steps toward becoming an eBay seller.

Step one is to sign up to for an eBay account. From eBay front page choose the blue register link. Fill out the registration form with your personal information. Choose a username that doesn’t reveal too much personal information. Your password should be something that is easy to remember. After reading and agreeing to the terms of service, you will receive a confirmation email that will enable you to activate your eBay account.

Secondly, you need an account to receive payment for eBay sells. PayPal is a secure, easy option for accepting and making payments. PayPal offers protection for buyers and sellers and contains tools that assist with eBay auctions. If you choose to accept credit card payment you must establish an account with a merchant provider. Millions of people use PayPal and I have found it to be the most efficient and reliable tool for payment as an eBay seller.

Once you are registered and have set up a PayPal account, create a seller’s account. Verification of your identity by PayPal, in the interest of fraud protection, is required by credit, debit card, or checking account before you begin to sell on eBay. The next step is to set up payment for any fees you incur from selling on eBay.

You may choose an option which allows your feed to be deducted from your PayPal account, place a credit card on file for automatic charging of eBay fees, or direct pay via a checking account (available only in US dollars and US accounts). Another option available to business retailers is payment to eBay through check.
